Yes, 2 blog posts in one day... and yes, I've been VERY busy! LOL!
One of the reasons I started this blog, is to be able to participate in challenges and I'm even hoping that maybe one day, I'll be chosen to join a design team (hey, a girl can dream, right?).
Soooooo, here's the card I made today... I'm entering it in the February Challenge at my favorite Canadian online store, the Stamp Shoppe . The challenge is to create a card with a Magnolia stamp, Swedish style. You can read all about it here. The winner of the challenge will be invited to be the Guest DT member for the month of April! Now how cool would that be?! Like I said, a girl can dream :o)
Since I spent the whole day on making this card (yes, I know some of you are rolling your eyes now and can not believe I actually ENJOY spending this much time on ONE card... LOL!) I'm also entering it in this week's challenge over at Just Magnolia. For those of you who don't know... Just Magnolia is a fun challenge blog for all Magnolia stamps lovers!
I'm pretty sure it's safe for me to enter it here as well, as this is just a challenge blog, not a store, so I won't be violating any rules ;o).
Here it is, this type of card is called an "easel card"... and they're all the rage right now!
There's a great step-by-step tutorial on SplitcoastStampers, you can see it here. It looks far more complex to make than it actually is! Give it a try, you'll LOVE it!

A little more detail... and yes... I know the corner of the top left layer looks crooked!! Ugh! I fixed the dimensional tape after taking the pics :o) You know me... Little Miss Perfect... LOL!!
And the Copics I used:
Wish me luck!! :o)
